1. Introduction

At Zolumair Hotel & Casino, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines our procedures for reservation modifications, cancellations, and refunds. We strive to be as flexible as possible while maintaining the quality of service for all our guests.

2. Standard Reservations

2.1 Cancellation Timeline

For standard room reservations:

  • 48+ hours before check-in: Full refund of deposit
  • 24-48 hours before check-in: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 24 hours before check-in: No refund

2.2 Modification Policy

Reservation modifications (date changes, room type changes, etc.) are subject to availability and may result in rate changes. Modifications must be made at least 48 hours prior to the original check-in date to avoid cancellation fees.

3. Non-Refundable Rates

Some of our special offers and promotions are available at discounted, non-refundable rates. These reservations:

  • Require full payment at the time of booking
  • Cannot be cancelled or refunded
  • Cannot be modified except in exceptional circumstances at management's discretion

Non-refundable rates are clearly identified during the booking process. By selecting a non-refundable rate, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

4. Group Reservations

For group bookings (5 or more rooms):

  • 30+ days before check-in: Full refund of deposit
  • 15-29 days before check-in: 50% refund of deposit
  • 14 days or less before check-in: No refund

Group reservations may be subject to a separate contract with specific terms and conditions.

5. Special Event Periods

During special event periods, major holidays, and peak seasons, a more restrictive cancellation policy may apply:

  • 14+ days before check-in: Full refund of deposit
  • 7-13 days before check-in: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 7 days before check-in: No refund

Special event periods include, but are not limited to: New Year's Eve, Super Bowl weekend, major conferences, and holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Independence Day.

6. No-Show Policy

If you fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date without prior notification (a "no-show"):

  • Your entire reservation may be cancelled
  • The full amount for the first night (or the entire stay for non-refundable rates) will be charged
  • Remaining nights may be released for general sale

7. Early Departure

If you check out before your scheduled departure date, you may be charged for the remaining nights of your reservation unless notice of early departure is provided at least 24 hours in advance.

8. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events that prevent you from traveling or us from providing accommodations, we will work with you to reschedule your stay or provide a refund, even for non-refundable reservations.

9. Refund Process

When a refund is due:

  • Credit card refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution
